Driving to Pickleball today, I heard on K-LOVE, a Christian radio station, about the story in the Bible of an ax head falling off into the water, and the disciple was worried since it was a borrowed ax.
The narrator on K-LOVE said something about the fact that the ax head was found and that God is concerned, even with our small, insignificant problems.
As I was driving, I threw up a prayer to God. “Ok, God, here’s a small problem. I’ve been sucking at Pickleball lately. I know they’re my friends, but I think they’re getting frustrated playing with me. I know this is silly, but let me play well today.”
Well, you can probably guess how I played today.

GAME ON!
You can believe that my game was just on today….OR
You can believe, like me, that God smiled down on me today and answered the silliest, smallest of prayers.
As I drove home, I threw a smirk at the sky and said, “You do see me!”
Once again a good reminder to talk to God like a best friend. He wants to surprise you
